A conference lunch, sponsored by Mars, and networking session will follow (13:00 – 17:00), before the popular TFWA Asia Pacific Lounge officially opens (17:00 – 21:00) and also runs on Tuesday and Wednesday (18:00-21:00).
i.lab makes TFAP debut
Meanwhile, the TFWA ilab makes its inaugural appearance in Asia Pacific to run alongside the main exhibition and conference programme.
It will be located in a dedicated area on Level 1 of the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre and is supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Launched several years ago as an incubator for new ideas and digital tools to engage travelling consumers, ilab made a return to TFWA Cannes in a virtual (via TFWA 365) and physical guise at last year’s DF&TR global summit.
As is customary, TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference will present a variety of educational, networking and business opportunities.
The TFWA ONE2ONE meeting service will offer formal meetings and on-site business meeting facilities.
TFWA i.lab Asia and ONE2ONE meetings will be hosted from Tuesday 9 May to Thursday 11 May (09:00 – 17:00).
The association will stage a TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference preview webinar on Thursday 13 April via TFWA 365.
Erik Juul-Mortensen, President, TFWA said: “As the largest duty free and travel retail market, the importance of Asia Pacific to our industry cannot be understated. Delegates from around the world come to TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference to do business, and it is extremely satisfying to see the range of major brands that have already registered and committed to joining us in Singapore.
“I am certain the new connections made, as well as the strengthening of ongoing relationships, will help to ensure further business success in Asia in 2023. If you are undecided on whether to register, now is definitely the time to lock in your plans to go.”
