Lotte DF launches Glenmorangie Signet Reserve Dessert Bar

The Glenmorangie Signet Reserve Dessert Bar will run until 17 August.

Lotte DF has partnered with Moët Hennessy to launch the world’s first Glenmorangie Signet Reserve Dessert Bar at its liquor flagship store in Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport.

The experiential pop-up, which runs until 17 August, has been created to celebrate the first 100 days of Lotte Duty Free’s Incheon Airport operation and combines whisky tasting with bespoke dessert pairings to enhance the airport retail experience.

Glenmorangie, the Highland single malt whisky brand owned by Moët Hennessy, is showcasing its Signet Reserve expression, a limited-production whisky finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The additional maturation imparts notes of chocolate truffle, toffee, fudge and tiramisu.

At the heart of the activation is a signature chocolate dessert, Équilibre, created in collaboration with chef Choi Kyu-sung of Seoul-based Pâtisserie MUR. The dessert has been specifically designed to complement the flavour profile of Glenmorangie Signet Reserve.

The pop-up’s design draws inspiration from contemporary Korean pâtisseries, featuring warm colour palettes, curved architectural elements and a central display dedicated to the Équilibre dessert to create an immersive pairing experience.

According to Lotte Duty Free, the activation is its first brand pop-up at Incheon Airport developed in partnership with Moët Hennessy and reflects the retailer’s strategy of expanding experiential retail concepts within its airport stores.

A Lotte Duty Free spokesperson said: “We are expanding customer engagement by introducing more experiential elements to the duty free shopping journey at Incheon Airport. We hope travellers will discover the appeal of Glenmorangie Signet Reserve through this unique gastronomic experience.”

The retailer is also marking the 100-day milestone with a series of promotions running until 17 August, including LDF PAY rewards across selected product categories, a “Lucky Seat” campaign offering shopping credit to passengers whose seat numbers match winning numbers, and exclusive photo cards for customers spending more than US$100.
