La Mer, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, treated VIP guests to treatment tips and product demonstrations.

Lotte Duty Free has welcomed more than 40 VIP customers to a virtual beauty class for luxury skincare label La Mer.

As part of a plan to resume non-contact events with brands and increase its customer marketing efforts, the South Korean travel retailer staged the ‘Lotte Duty Free VIP Virtual Event’.

The VIPs were treated to product usage and beauty tips for La Mer’s total anti-aging line, Genaissance de la Mer, and received product trial test kits and massage tools to trial during the class.

After the event, Lotte Duty Free offered customers a 1:1 customised skincare solution containing information on beauty consulting.

To mark the occasion, Lotte Duty Free will present a La Mer gift with purchase and Lotte Duty Free store points – on a time-limited basis – to those customers purchasing La Mer products .

Lee Seung-guk, Head of Lotte Duty Free’s product division, said: “The brand collaboration event, which had been suspended for a while due to coronavirus, has been switched to non-face-to-face and has resumed.”

Earlier this week, Lotte unveiled its first Pomellato Italian jewellery boutique at the Myeongdong flagship store.
