Lotte ‘Jumping New Year’ campaign incentivises Korean customers

In celebration of the Year of the Rabbit, Lotte Duty Free is holding its first marketing campaign of 2023, ‘Jumping New Year,’ for its Korean customers until 5 March.
A Lotte Duty Free official said: “We are holding various gift events and discount events for customers travelling abroad during the Lunar New Year holiday.”
‘Jumping New Year’ incorporates a number of shopping incentives and giveaways, such as two tickets for a three-night trip to Guam and discounts of up to 80% on well-known brands.
The Guam trip, allocated to two customers spending the highest sums of money in its shops during the event period (online and offline combined), includes a round-trip ticket with Korean Air and a voucher to stay at a Lotte Hotel.
In addition, domestic customers who purchase goods over $300 at Lotte’s downtown store and $100 at the retailer’s Incheon Airport store during the event period, will be given the opportunity to win a stay at Lotte’s hotel in Guam through a lottery system.
Lotte Duty Free stores are also carrying out various marketing activities connected with international brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Coach, and Bali, offering up to 80% discount.
Meanwhile, Lotte Duty Free has collaborated with ‘Rabbitory’ to create an animated rabbit character ‘LDF Rabbit’ in celebration of the Year of the Rabbit in 2023, which the retailer will use online and offline to greet customers visiting its stores.
