Lotte Duty Free has celebrated the grand unveiling of its refurbished central duplex store in the departures hall of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3.
Located at the heart of the T3 transit area, the dual level store boasts a contemporary design marked out by an all-glass façade offering sweeping views of the store’s interior.
In November, Lotte Duty Free unveiled its double-storey wines & spirits duplex at the newly reopened Terminal 2.

Tech-laden boutique experiences
An eight-metre high LED media wall coaxes travellers into the retail environment, where they can shop from a variety of exclusive merchandise.
The store features a world-first House of Suntory shop-in-shop boutique carrying a wide assortment of premium spirits, including the limited edition centennial release of Hibiki 21-year old and the region’s first Toki Whisky launch, accented by architecture that pays tribute to traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
A Hennessy shop-in-shop boutique celebrates its heritage while welcoming visitors with digital elements at the front of the activation to bring to life the cognac house’s assortment.
Australian winemaker Penfolds gets a noticeable presence that – similar to Hennessy – plays on several digital cues such as a 3D screen, state-of-the-art digital sommelier and personalised interactions.
The inaugural Penfolds 3D screen introduces Lotte customers to a ‘captivating visual odyssey’ crafted exclusively for the Lotte T3 store that builds on the ‘Venture Beyond’ experience.
In addition, the brand has unveiled a thematic gondola showcasing its 2023 gift collection, which takes its inspiration from the mysteries of the deep sea.
Meanwhile, a Pernod Ricard shop-in-shop boutique presents a first-of-its kind cross-category experience with an array of blended and single malt Scotch whiskies, plus translucent LED screens serving as a useful canvas for brand activations.
On the upper deck, the Lotte experiential zone houses the Interactive Wine Sommelier featuring translucent LED touch screens.
The tool is used to deliver a personalised experience to wine aficionados by evolving the wine selection process to cater to travellers’ tastes, providing interactive recommendations based on their individual food and dietary preferences.
Lifestyle Lounge on the upper deck
Visitors to the upper deck will also encounter the Lifestyle Lounge, which offers a space for travellers to relax and recharge their electronic devices.
At the upper veranda, they can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area while sipping cocktails mixed by Toni, the ‘Makr Shakr’ robotic bartender.
Lotte has introduced Toni at the Terminal 2 Duplex Store to great effect, with customers drawn to the robot’s precise, synchronised movements and tasty cocktail recipes.
