The Korea Internet Specialists Association (KISA) has announced that Lotte Duty Free has been rewarded for its marketing and advertising efforts at the prestigious ‘Web Awards Korea’.
As such, Lotte won the Korean Internet Experts Association award for its duty free shop (www.lottedfs.com) and the advertising/publicity award for (kr.lottedfs.com) for the overall shopping mall category.
The evaluation method was based on 18 evaluation indicators in six categories, including visual design, technology, contents, user compatability and service marketing.
UPGRADED AND REORGANISED
The retailer says it upgraded its online shopping by reorganizing it back in September.
This included introducing a global integrated next-generation system aimed at maximising user convenience and language compatibility, while providing customised and optimised personal services – thanks to advanced customer analysis.
In addition, Lotte also received the iECO AWARD way back in July which recognised its efforts to get closer to its customers with the Grand Prize in the area of web accessibility.
This was also recognised for innovation in the field of evaluating services and improving accessibility for people with disabilities.
As reported at the time, Lotte was also awarded the gold medal in the international business website division last August for innovative layout and design at the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards (2017) – known as the Oscars of the business.
