Louis XIII partners Heinemann to launch Smart Decanter tech into Oceania TR

Louis XIII Cognac is introducing its Smart Decanter technology into travel retail through Oceania, in partnership with Heinemann, which will be the first travel retailer in the Oceania region to launch the new coffret, in conjunction with the Louis XIII pop-up at Sydney Airport International Departures, from now until the 7 November.
Available in a new coffret, the crystal decanter offers integrated near-field communication technology (NFC) to provide clients with ‘seamless access’ to the Louis XIII Society.
Each decanter connects clients directly to the private club, where members can access exclusive content, ‘unique experiences’ and ‘personalised services’ through their smartphones.
“After removing the seal, clients can simply tap and scan their smartphones on the cork stopper to access the Louis XIII Society landing page to create or log into their account,” says Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail Asia Pacific.
HIGH SOCIETY: CONSUMERS CAN CONNECT TO THE LOUIS XIII PRIVATE CLUB
The Louis XIII society offers bespoke services such as customised decanter engraving, pre-releases of limited editions, contact with a Louis XIII Personal Advisor for private tastings and experiences, and an invitation to network with Louis XIII Cognac connoisseurs registered globally.

The Louis XIII Smart Decanter also enables clients to purchase and send gifts with customized messages that appear when recipients scan their decanter.
