Luke Maga, Managing Director GTR & Africa, Middle East & Indian Subcontinent.
Loch Lomond Group has been appointed to the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) Board following an election, which ran from 3-8 November.
Luke Maga, Managing Director GTR & Africa, Middle East & Indian subcontinent and a former Board member when he was with Distell, has been selected to represent Loch Lomond Group on the Board after receiving a 42% share of votes.
Loch Lomond fills the vacancy left by Distell after its takeover by CVH Spirits and its decision not to continue the position.
Maga’s appointment is with immediate effect for the remainder of the current term until May 2025.
In addition to Loch Lomond, there were three nominees for the vacancy: Pedro Castro, Avolta; Graeme Stewart, Enviro-Point; and Karen Hausman, Estée Lauder.

Sunil Tuli, President, APTRA.
The APTRA Board election was open to all APTRA member companies, with each eligible to cast one single vote for one of the four nominees via an electronic election platform.
APTRA says the compliant process ensured voter anonymity with only the number of votes being visible to the APTRA executive team.
Prior to that, APTRA member organisations were invited to nominate themselves for the vacancy with a nominated representative from their executive team.
Until the next election in May 2025, the APTRA Board comprises the following: Nuno Amaral, Delhi Duty Free; Lucy Thomas, Auckland International Airport; Steve Timms, Australian Duty Free Association; Hervé Ducros, Chanel; Chandra Mahtani, Changi Airport Group; Erin Lillis, Lacoste (Secretary); Susana Hueso, Lindt (Treasurer); Luke Maga, Loch Lomond Group; Har Ying Pan, JTI; Sunil Tuli, King Power Group Hong Kong (President); Simon Van Moppes, Pernod Ricard; and Erik Juul-Mortensen, TFWA.
