Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) is seeking two operators to run complex retail (retail/F&B) services under a five-year sub-concession contract following the issuance of a request for proposal.
The two units measure 57sq m respectively and are located on the ground floor of the North Departure Airside area of the Passenger Terminal Building at Macau International Airport.
Different types of retail and F&B concepts – or a combination of both – will be considered, with CAM stipulating that proposals should provide a wide range of consumables and services that both financially viability while reflecting the locality of the special administrative region.
The deadline for submissions is 12:00 noon (local time) on 27 February 2024, with CAM anticipated to notify successful qualified bidders in April 2024.
CAM will evaluate and score submissions out of a total of 1,000 points based on the proposed criteria: Experience and qualifications (170), customer service (270), financial (180), marketing and operation plans (230) and design and proposed capital investment (150).
During the term of the sub-concession lease, tenants shall pay to CAM a monthly rent per calendar month consisting of an occupancy fee of MOP360/$45 per square metre of the sub-concession area, plus a condominium fee amounting to 40% of the occupancy fee per month.
