Major changes at L’Oréal
By Doug Newhouse |
L’Oréal Luxury Products Division (LPD) and Scental-Travel Retail Asia Pacific have announced that Olivier DUBOS is taking over as General Manager LPD Korea and Eva YU will shortly take on the role of Scental Managing Director.
Olivier DUBOS is taking up his new position shortly after two years as General Manager of Scental. L’Oréal says that under his leadership and vision, Scental has succeeded in meeting several challenges, including the expansion of Kiehl’s, the increase in Lancôme’s market share and brand image development. He is also attributed with identifying new opportunities quickly.
Meanwhile, from July 1, Ms Eva YU will take over her new responsibilities as Scental Managing Director. Eva joined L’Oréal LPD Hong Kong in 2000 in Marketing as a Director, building the Biotherm, Kiehl’s and Shu Uemura brands as a GM. For the last seven years Eva was LPD General Manager.
L’Oréal says that her expertise on retail and luxury and her business acumen will be strong assets for her new assignment.
