By Trbusiness Editor |
Moët Hennessy Travel Retail has joined forces with DFS Group to create the House of Hennessy boutique at the T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons.
The milestone partnership is the first branded wines and spirits boutique at the location. The 1,500sq ft luxury installation aims to offers visitors an “unmatched bespoke experience”, according to the brand.
Hennessy tradition & innovation
The House of Hennessy boutique features an opulent design scheme that references the Maison’s history and heritage, alongside contemporary architectural elements.
Visitors are greeted by a 3.7-metre merrain façade, fashioned from the oak wood barrels used to create Hennessy cognacs. The show window highlights imagery from Hennessy XO’s latest campaign, ‘Life Is the Greatest Odyssey’.

Key elements of the 1,500sq ft luxury boutique include a rotating bar, the activation area, and the discovery area.
The key feature of the boutique is the Hennessy Rotating Bar – a world first that is exclusive to the T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Four Seasons – and designed to deliver a unique immersive experience.
Other notable elements include the activation area, which showcases seasonal activations and the latest campaigns, and the discovery area. Here visitors can explore the complete Hennessy product portfolio, from entry-range cognacs to the Maison’s rarest expressions.

Bottles purchased at the boutique can be customised through the Hennessy Hands and Art of Gifting atelier.
A sensorial journey experience, incorporating film, scents and sound waves, allows customers to discover their perfect Hennessy match, via sight, smell, hearing and touch.
The various selections made during each phase correspond to a matching identity: Hennessy VSOP, Hennessy XO, James Hennessy, Hennessy XXO, or Hennessy Paradis. A tasting of the perfect match completes the sensorial journey.
A personalised experience
To further elevate the boutique experience, bottles can be customised through the Hennessy Hands and Art of Gifting atelier. Any Hennessy bottle can be engraved in gold, copper or silver. For Hennessy Paradis, travellers can add and engrave the bottle’s neck with colourful leather.
Hennessy XXO can be personalised with other embellishments such as straps, medallions, and coloured stickers, which feature the iconic landmarks of Macau, offering a memorable souvenir.

The House of Hennessy boutique includes a VIP Lounge that showcases rare, ultra-luxe cognacs and includes dedicated time with brand ambassadors.
The boutique’s VIP Lounge offers a private sanctuary for discerning high net worth guests. This area showcases rare, ultra-luxe cognac selections and includes dedicated time with brand ambassadors. The intimate setting accommodates personalised tastings and an exclusive exploration of the Hennessy universe.
Finally, the House of Hennessy boutique includes Les Caves de Champagne – a dedicated space that showcases the Maison’s famous champagne brands, including Armand de Brignac, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Moët & Chandon.
