Mumbai Duty Free (MDF), operated by Flemingo Travel Retail has launched its first customer loyalty programme entitled Flemingo Privilege.
The new offering enables MDF customers to avail a range of additional benefits on purchases. These include accrual and redemption of points, loyalty exclusive offers and other special services.
Designed in harmony with MDF’s motto to deliver greater value to shoppers, the company believes Flemingo Privilege will delight all returning international travellers.
The programme allows customers to accumulate and redeem points on all transactions assuring guaranteed savings.
As part of the launch offer, every loyalty customer can enjoy an additional 5% discount on their next transaction over and above accrual and redemption of points.
THREE TIERS OF ENROLMENT
The programme offers three different tiers of enrolment. These are red (basic), silver (intermediate) and platinum (premium). Customers must pay INR7,500/$101 to unlock the red tier. Customers can them upgrade to higher membership level through higher spends or accumulation of points.
According to MDF, the accrual of points is designed to grant higher benefits to upper tiers.
Under the red tier, each INR100/$1.34 spent is equal to one point. Silver tier members can earn 1.15 points per INR100 spent, while gold tier members can obtain 1.25 points when spending INR100 in-store. The more customers shop, the more they save and the closer they get to reaching the next tier.
Mumbai Duty Free, which is located in the new integrated Terminal 2 at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport said: “The programme was launched on 9 November 2020 and has already seen an overwhelming response from customers with over 100 enrolments in under 24 hours.
“With such a promising launch and so many exciting benefits to look forward to, Flemingo Privilege will make one’s return to duty-free shopping a memorable experience!”
