Nestlé International Travel Retail and The Cocoa Trees present the Live Your Break promotion featuring Kit Kat Senses Tablets at Singapore’s Changi Airport

Nestlé International Travel Retail and The Cocoa Trees present the Live Your Break promotion spotlighting Kit Kat Senses Tablets at Singapore’s Changi Airport in May 2022.

Nestlé International Travel Retail has partnered with The Cocoa Trees to launch its new Kit Kat Senses Tablets at Singapore Changi Airport.

The Live Your Break promotion, which runs throughout May 2022, has rolled out in the revamped The Cocoa Trees outlet in Terminal 3 departures and will soon extend to the company’s other outlet in Terminal 1.

The campaign spotlights Kit Kat Senses Tablets in three flavours – Caramel Crisp, Cookie Crumble and Hazelnut Crunch – which are launching into Asia this month.

Shoppers spending S$45 (US$33) or more on Kit Kat products will receive a free gift with purchase (GWP) of a Kit Kat Back-Pack.

This GWP will be extended across the region as borders within Asia continue to open.

“Kit Kat has shown its resilience during the pandemic with travel retail sales reaching 60% of 2019 levels in 2021 and predicted to recover to almost 80% this year,” said Nestlé ITR General Manager Stewart Dryburgh.

“It’s very encouraging to see that Asia is now beginning to open up again post-pandemic and Singapore is, without doubt, a key airport channel for our brands, particularly Kit Kat.

“While the Kit Kat Senses Tablets range was initially introduced in 2021, for many travellers in Asia this will be the first opportunity to discover the range. More than ever, travellers are going to want to really ‘live their breaks’ and we’re happy to invest in that ambition with this campaign.”

KIT KAT DRIVING RECOVERY FOR NESTLÉ
The Senses Tablets campaign is being given a boost with digital communications that emphasise the brand’s positioning in global travel retail via its famous Red Bus placed in-store.

Stories about the promotion are also appearing on The Cocoa Trees’ Instagram and Facebook pages.

Kit Kat remains Nestlé’s key strategic brand for driving recovery in 2022 with Senses playing a key role.

The Senses Tablets were first introduced in 2021, positioned as an affordable indulgence to enjoy on-the-move.

Inside each bar is a shareable treat with 10 rows of inclusions on a classic Kit Kat wafer, covered in a smooth milk chocolate coating.

A new Roasted Almond flavour will be introduced later this year.
