Paul & Shark set to display AW collection in Singapore
By Andrew Pentol |
Paul & Shark will showcase its autumn/winter 2018 collection along with highlights from its spring/summer 2018 offer at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (Basement 2, D11).
Collections include Aqua Leather, the Travel Project and Loro Piana, which demonstrate the Italian luxury lifestyle brand’s quality and technological innovation, according to the company.
The water repellent Aqua Leather jackets are treated to maintain their softness and offer high-tech combined with functionality and comfort.
The Travel Project is a range of clothing designed to ensure maximum comfort when travelling.
CREASE-PROOF FABRIC
Blazer and trousers made of crease-proof and stain-proof fabric are suitable for formal clothing or high-performance leisure wear.
Sweaters in cashmere intertwined with an ultra-fine nylon thread maintain their shape and elasticity. The foldable, ultra-light, down jacket is perfect for travelling, emphasised Paul & Shark.
New for autumn/winter 2018 is a ‘practical and comfortable’ jacket with clean lines and an urban yet technical tool.
Its ultra-compact surface brings together the travel benefits of extreme lightness with high resistance and heat retention. A special treatment makes the fabric anti-wrinkle.
The Loro Piana Storm System (left) and Rain System treatments are designed for ultimate protection. In the Storm System, natural fibres are flanked by state-of-the-art technology, blending style and functionality.
It is a fully-fledged system comprising a water repellent treatment and exclusive hydrophilic membrane that is resistant to water, breathable and windproof.
The Loro Piana Rain System treatment allows water drops to slide over the surface of the fabric, increasing its water resistance and protecting it from dust, dirt and liquid stains.
The thin and light hydrophilic membrane, is applied on the reverse of the fabric. Excellent breathability is ensured, guaranteeing ‘perfect protection’ from wind.
COLOURS OF SHETLAND
Colours of Shetland (right) is a new autumn/winter 2018 range of soft lambswool zip neck jumpers in autumnal shades. Made from 19.5 micron wool taken from the first shearing of the lamb at four months, these ‘super-soft’ tops are of the highest quality workmanship, indicated the company.
Worldwide Travel Retail Director Catherine Bonelli said: “Paul & Shark has enjoyed another extremely successful year with 2017-8 seeing us open a number of new airport stores including Cairo, Istanbul, Bangkok, Wuhan, Nice and Riyadh.
“Our cruise ship business also continues to grow with new listings including the Norwegian Joy. These, plus our existing locations are all performing extremely well and we’re very happy with results to date.”
She added: “Nevertheless, we still see a lot of growth potential for Paul & Shark in all regions, but particularly Asia-Pacific.
“We are very much looking forward to meeting our existing and potential clients in Singapore this year when, as always, we will be pleased to offer personalisation of Paul & Shark polo shirts for guests using our bespoke embroidery machine.”
