Pernod Ricard and Heinemann open new Scotch Whisky Emporium at SYD

The Scotch Whisky Emporium houses premium whisky brands including Chivas Regal, Royal Salute and Ballantine’s.

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Pacific has opened its new Scotch Whisky Emporium in partnership with Heinemann Australia at Sydney International Airport.

Located in the departures tax and duty-free store, the Scotch Whisky Emporium, which was launched on 13 August, highlights Pernod Ricard’s blended Scotch whiskies.

It houses premium whisky brands including Chivas Regal, Royal Salute and Ballantine’s, focusing on new and high-value aged products.

The emporium features a fully immersive tasting experience hosted by bilingual brand ambassadors, along with digital screens that display distillery and blending processes to educate consumers on how each whisky is made.

OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS IN SYDNEY

The new emporium is the first multi-brand blended scotch whisky zone of its kind in GTR for Pernod Ricard, which leverages its brand portfolio. To celebrate the opening, a bespoke bottle engraver was on site to personally engrave all bottles costing a minimum of $80 from the Chivas, Royal Salute and Ballantine’s ranges. The engraving service was available at no extra charge.

From 1 August until 31 August, travellers can benefit from a buy two save 15% promotion across various Chivas products at the Scotch Whisky Emporium. These products include Chivas XV 1L, Chivas 12yo 1L, Chivas 12yo Lstn Tin 1L, Chivas 12yo Night 1.5L, Chivas Extra 1L, Chivas Mizunara 700ml, Chivas 18yo 1L, Chivas 18 Ultimate Cask Japanese Oak 1L, Chivas Ultis 1L and Chivas 25yo 700ml.

The offer excludes Chivas Brother’s Blend 1L and Chivas Icon 700ml. Chivas Brother’s Blend 1L is available on a buy two for $99 promotional offer from August to September 2019.
