The Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) has announced that registration is now open for its India Conference 2027, which is taking place from 16-18 February 2027 in Jaipur.
Alongside a full programme of industry discussion and insight, the entertainment programme includes a special occasion on 16 February, which will see delegates welcomed to the City Palace for ‘an evening of royal splendour ‘ in the presence of Rajasthan’s royal legacy, followed by dinner held within the grandeur of their private quarters.
Guests will be received with full royal honours, a traditional ceremonial welcome and a regal entourage, before being escorted to dinner in a private courtyard.
Private access of this kind is exceptionally rare, says APTRA, with the City Palace an active royal residence. The evening is hosted by Ospree, the platinum host partner of the conference.
Tickets for the conference and entertainment programme are priced at US$750 per person and and can be booked via https://2vx.io/ja4RBL9
Meanwhile preparations are progressing for the APTRA North Asia Forum on 12 November 2026 in Hong Kong, held in partnership with the Airport Authority Hong Kong and Hong Kong International Airport.
Airports, retailers and brands will come together to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the region, notably the markets of China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.
The speaker lineup includes Subramania Bhatt, Founder & CEO of China Trading Desk; Valerie Chuong, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Kansai Airports; Chim Esteban, Founder & CEO of Regent Travel Group; Jenny Lai, President & CEO, Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau, Bluebell Group; Esther Lui, General Manager, Retail Portfolio, Airport Authority Hong Kong; Shalini Rao, Chief Marketing Officer, Bangalore International Airport Ltd; and Michael Wong, Managing Director – North Asia, Avolta, among others, with more speakersset to be announced soon.
“North Asia and India are moving at very different speeds and understanding how – and why – matters more than ever for our industry, said Sunil Tuli, APTRA President and Group Chief Executive, King Power Group (Hong Kong).
“That’s exactly what these APTRA events are designed to do; bring stakeholders together for open, honest conversation about what’s really driving each market. The APTRA team will be in Cannes for TFWA all week, and we’d love to meet delegates and partners there to talk through what’s ahead for both conferences.”
Tickets to the APTRA North Asia Forum are priced at US$150 per person. Registration is available via https://2vx.io/0fCgG9C.
