Germany-based, family-owned confectionery supplier Ritter Sport is set to showcase a brand redesign at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, alongside an expanded travel-retail exclusive range.
Known for its colourful, square chocolate bars, Ritter Sport’s product line-up on-stand at the show includes the Vegan Tower 5x100g pack, the Mini Tower new flavour mix, and the Winter Selection Tower 5x100g limited edition.
The Vegan Tower features three different Ritter Sport varieties, made without milk and using cocoa from 100% certified-sustainable sources.
“Travel retail in this region is looking very positive so we are delighted to be back at TFWA Asia Pacific this year – the first time for us since the pandemic period,” said Jan Pasold, Managing Director, Global Travel Retail at Ritter Sport.
“When you eat chocolate, you want to enjoy it. Really enjoy it, with full flavour,” said GTR marketing manager Nicole Miltenberger. “We have worked extremely hard to ensure that our TRE Vegan Tower will offer consumers exactly that, combining the three varieties that we believe will have the most traveller appeal.”
In addition to the new-look pack design and extended collection, Ritter Sport will also use the event to highlight its sustainability commitments.
Ritter Sport has been a carbon-neutral company since 2020, and achieved sales of €505 million in 2021.
“We look forward to meeting our regional partners, colleagues and friends in Singapore this year. It’s great to be back,” Pasold added.
Pasold told TRBusiness in February that Ritter Sport is “fully back on track for the vast majority of our customers and beyond 2019 results”. He added that the business will be able to compare year-on-year performances from 2023 once more.
