The new Rituals store in Haitang Bay couples holistic wellbeing with affordable luxury.
Rituals Cosmetics has fortified its presence in Asia Pacific travel retail with the opening of a landmark store at CDF Sanya International Duty Free City.
The beauty and wellbeing brand’s inaugural Haitang Bay shop in collaboration with China Duty Free Group measures 30sq m and was revealed on 28 December, a few days before the New Year.
It is Rituals’ first premium boutique concept in Hainan, offering a more luxury experience for Chinese customers.
Visitors will encounter a design aesthetic underscored by peaceful serenity where they can ‘nourish their mind, body and soul through an array of wellbeing collections’.
A lineup of high-quality products spanning body care, home care and car perfumes are available, all of which have been created to be safe for the skin and kind to the planet.
Shoppers can trial the new collections and make use of water islands within the shop.

“The opening of our first store in Haitang Bay marks an important moment for Rituals as we solidify and expand our presence in Asia Pacific,” commented Raymond Cloosterman, Founder & CEO of Rituals Cosmetics.
“We believe in spreading meaningful moments and we are excited to bring our brand ethos to a new location with our incredible partners, China Duty Free Group.
“With our holistic approach to beauty and wellbeing and our democratic price points, we are proud to bring our distinct innovative concepts to consumers at Haitang Bay.”

The new boutique dovetails with the 28 December unveiling of CDF’s much-anticipated Global Beauty Plaza in Zone C of CDF Sanya International Duty Free City.
Zone C houses new concept design boutiques and the first double-storey flagship stores from the likes of Lancôme, Estée Lauder and Dior, which join other brands such as Le Labo, Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Pat McGrath Labs.
CDF Sanya International Duty Free City features more than 850 revered domestic and international brands over a 78,000sq m construction area.
