Pernod Ricard Travel Retail has unveiled a Taiwan-exclusive, limited edition packaging design for its Royal Salute 25 Year Old expression released to mark the New Year.
Available only from Duty Free Taipei Taoyuan Airport from November 2023, the blended Scotch bottling design has been inspired by the “beauty of Taiwan”.
Its design is said to capture the “beauty, energy, and rich traditions” of the country, while celebrating the heritage of the Royal Salute brand.
Illustrations include dragon and tiger pagodas, Taiwan’s national flower the plum blossom, and the Chinese dragon.
The whisky itself is presented in a flagon with gold detailing topped with a jewel-like stopper.
Royal Salute 25-Year-Old Taiwan Edition is available now priced at $9,360 NTD.

Last month Royal Salute partnered with fashion designer Richard Quinn to release Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II, described as an “exceptional” blended Scotch.
