Shinsegae Duty Free launches Ex Nihilo pop-up at Incheon International Airport

The Ex Nihilo pop-up at Incheon International Airport with Shinsegae Duty Free is running until 31 December.
Shinsegae Duty Free has partnered with French luxury niche perfume house Ex Nihilo to unveil the brand’s first-ever airport duty-free pop-up at Incheon International Airport (ICN) Terminal 2.
Active through 31 December, the pop-up gives travellers passing through ICN the chance to experience the brand’s Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum, which has recently gone viral on Korean social media, with fans nicknaming it the ‘irresistible New Yorker scent’.
The fragrance, which launched in September, forms the centerpiece of the pop-up with the design of space inspired by the brand’s signature shade of blue.
A Shinsegae Duty Free spokesperson commented: “Ex Nihilo approaches fragrance as a form of art and is highly favoured among trend-conscious Gen Z and millennial customers.
“Through this airport pop-up, we hope to deliver a memorable travel experience that lingers long after their journey begins.”
Ex Nihilo’s Blue Talisman scent has earned a strong following on TikTok and Instagram, with nearly eight million cumulative video views and widespread sellouts at major department stores across Korea.
The new Extrait de Parfum elevates the elegance of the original, with a ‘richer, more daring’ interpretation that blends pear, jasmine and orange blossom with warm vanilla and sandalwood. Visitors can also discover the original Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum at the pop-up.

Since its official launch in Korea in 2020, Ex Nihilo has achieved double-digit annual sales growth and has emerged as one of the most sough-after next-generation niche fragrance brands.
To celebrate the opening of the pop-up, Ex Nihilo is offering an exclusive ‘scented bracelet’ (infused with the brand’s signature scent), available only to travellers at Incheon Airport during the promotional period.
