The Macallan Aurora Scotch Whisky.

Ever Rich Duty Free Shop along with other Taiwanese duty free operators has partnered with The Edrington Group to release a Taiwanese duty free exclusive product.

The Macallan Aurora Scotch Whisky is based on sherry oak casks, a blend of European and American sherry casks, hogshead and American oak bourbon casks.

Marcelo Colombo, Managing Director, Asia Travel Retail, Edrington Asia said: “The launch of Aurora exclusively in Taiwanese duty free is a natural progression for The Macallan Quest Collection given the line’s resounding success in travel retail and brand’s popularity in Taiwan.

“Aurora is the perfect complement to the existing Quest Collection and underlines our commitment to delivering differentiation and excitement within the channel.”

While The Macallan Quest Collection is limited to global duty free channel, the special Aurora is a Taiwan exclusive. Macallan Aurora is priced at $80 and is expected to be sold in Ever Rich and Tasa Meng stores from September 2019.
