Dassai soap is now available at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2.

Taiwanese travel retailer Tasa Meng has partnered with Japanese distribution company Asahi Shuzo Co Ltd for the first international launch of Dassai soap at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2.

Under the terms of the agreement Tasa Meng will also distribute the soap in the Taiwanese domestic market.

As reported, Tasa Meng recently partnered with brand management company Happy Project Inc for the first international launch of Dassai facial treatment masks in the same terminal.

On the launch of Dassai soap at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2, a Tasa Meng Spokesperson said: “This will be another important launch during the Covid-19 period, as most of our customers are unable to travel due to quarantine restrictions.”

Regarding the coronavirus situation, the Spokesperson indicated things were becoming more difficult in Taiwan due to new cases, tightened safety measures and more intense social distancing.

COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL TO BE LOWERED

According to multiple national and international the country’s nationwide Level 3 Covid-19 alert will be lowered to level two from tomorrow (27 July) due to a fall in Covid-19 cases.

Tasa Meng will also distribute the soap in the Taiwanese domestic market.

Travellers who are not citizens or legal residents of Taiwan, however, will remain unable to enter the country.

The Spokesperson added: “Many Taiwanese continue to fly to the USA and China to have vaccine injections and to enjoy their summer holiday due to a shortage of vaccines.

“Guam has recently became a new vaccine travel destination due to cheaper tour fees and because it is close to Taiwan. Group tours to Guam are fully booked in July.”

In the meantime, passengers are continuing to pre-order from the retailer’s online shops and collect products at designated pick-up counters or in stores.
