The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference is returning this year with a refreshed appearance and an enhanced networking programme.
Taking place from Sunday 11 to Thursday 15 May 2025 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore, the event’s new scenography is said to blend ‘timeless design with a distinct style’.
Public areas will be connected by a cohesive thread of design elements, featuring organic shapes, contrasting materials and a warm colour palette.
Natural greenery and pale wood screens have been selected to create a ‘harmonious atmosphere’, says the association.
Totem components, inspired by the city, such as the Supertrees from the Gardens by the Bay, will add a distinctive local touch while serving as prominent signposts for programme information and wayfinding within the exhibition.
The revived concept will be brought to life through furniture and decoration that is welcoming, functional, modern, eco-friendly and comfortable, flowing through all service areas (such as the registration area, bars, business centre, press centre, rest areas and ONE2ONE meeting rooms), complimenting the vibrancy of the exhibitor stands.
“At TFWA, throughout our history we have prided ourselves on consistently striving to offer the best and most valuable experience possible to our members and visitors to our events,” said Philippe Margueritte, TFWA President.
“The ‘new look’ we will be bringing to Singapore is a demonstration of our commitment to ensuring we offer our industry the finest business environments and dedication to adapting to an ever-changing future, while retaining the status of our events as diary essentials.”
To allow for additional time for business meetings between exhibiting brands and visitors in the halls, TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition will open at 13:00 on the Monday.
The networking agenda encompasses a Welcome Cocktail on Sunday 11 May at Gardens by the Bay under the theme of ‘Enchanted Gardens’.
According to TFWA, the cocktail will have a futuristic ambiance that pay reference to the conference and exhibition’s focus on the next generation of travel retail.
The TFWA Asia Pacific Lounge will be returning on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with extended timings from 18:00 to 21:00 at level 4 of Marina Bay Sands.
It will feature an expanded space for both indoor and outdoor socialising and new decoration, with food served.
Changi Airport Group is the official host of this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Conference, which is also supported by local partners of the City of Singapore and the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau.
