Thai PM opens new shop

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra recently presided over the opening of the King Power Duty Free shop located in Khao Lak Merlin Resort and Spa. The newly established shop is one of several being opened in

support of the Finance Ministry’s policy to revive Andaman tourism. This policy allows Thai travellers to purchase duty free goods in the three provinces of Phuket, Phang-Nga and Krabi.
