The Macallan offered a first look at its new, global travel exclusive Colour Collection at a private event at Raffles Hotel in Singapore last week.

Marking the return of age statement whiskies to The Macallan’s global travel retail offering, The Macallan Colour Collection comprises five age statement single malt Scotch whiskies that explore the brand’s ‘commitment to delivering natural colour through maturation in sherry seasoned casks’.

Deepening in colour with age, the range spans the hues of the whisky spectrum, showcasing the natural tones derived from maturation in The Macallan’s sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.

At the Raffles Hotel event, which took place on Monday 8 May 2023, guests were immersed in the story of the new collection, with a colourful display followed by an exclusive tasting.

The experience brought to life the The Macallan’s rich heritage for championing natural colour and sherry seasoning – both of which have been key pillars of the brand since it was established in 1824.

“These five distinctive whiskies will take travellers on a compelling journey through the beautiful natural colour spectrum achieved by maturation in exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks and reveal the incomparable craftsmanship and creativity at the heart of The Macallan.

“We look forward to introducing the new range globally within The Macallan Boutiques and major travel retail locations from September 2023.”
