The Shilla Duty Free marks LNY at Changi with offers and promotions

Shilla has rung in the Lunar New Year with a number of beauty-focused activities at Changi Airport.
Travel retailer The Shilla Duty Free has marked the Lunar New Year at Singapore Changi Airport with a series of special offers, activities and promotions running until the end of February.
“The Shilla Duty Free joyously extends a warm welcome to travellers eager to indulge in the exhilarating energy of the Lunar New Year, with a range of beauty offerings,” said Jeff Lee, The Shilla Duty Free (Singapore) Managing Director.
“Our holiday campaign is designed to celebrate the art of meaningful gifting during the Lunar New Year and showcase limited-edition beauty buys and personalised gifting opportunities.
“We invite everyone to join us in looking forward to a year filled with success and happiness, as we usher in the auspicious year of the Dragon.”
The activities have a beauty and fragrances focus, with planned activities including live make-up demonstrations from Yves Saint Laurent, and an augmented reality personalisation experience for fragrance ‘Libre Atelier.
“YSL Beauté is committed to reigniting retail excitement and offering an engaging experience to all travellers,” said Francis Lim, YSL Artistry Manager.
In addition, Shilla has brought back its popular gashapon activation, giving shoppers the opportunity to win prizes.
With a $250 minimum spend, shoppers receive a voucher for the machine, with winners receiving return vouchers and a grand prize of $888.
Online shoppers who spend over $300 at iShopChangi.com will receive a free beauty gift worth $300 on collection at either departures or arrival.
Shilla’s Terminal 1 Central Store is also offering Chinese Zodiac forecasts and predictions for 2024.
Discounts are available when shoppers purchase using Alipay. With a minimum spend of $200 customers will get $20 off, or $100 off a minimum spend of $1,000.
Those using Alipay+ partner apps will also be rewarded with promotions in store.
Both Alipay and Alipay+ customers will receive twice the number of chances to win on the gashapon machine.

Earlier this month, Shilla drew attention to its beauty activity at Incheon airport, with the retailer sharing that its new Terminal 2 beauty store was “enjoying popularity”.
