YSL Beauté Travel Retail and China Duty Free Group spread the love in Hainan

Travellers benefitted from limited exclusive offers at CDFG’s Sanya Duty Free store.

YSL Beauté Travel Retail Asia Pacific partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to bring its #Claimyourlove campaign to Hainan on Valentine’s Day in China (20 May 2021).

A Beauty Villa hosted at the InterContinental Sanya Resort offered travellers a 360-degree online and offline experience with live makeup shows, DJ performances and live-streaming sessions.

The event ran from 19-21 May and featured YSL Beauté’s All Hours Foundation, a travel essential with a 24-hour advanced formula for all beauty savvy travellers.

Setting the ambiance at the Beauty Villa was live music spun by DJ Cara Kong at the poolside. Her performance was live-streamed to one million followers on her Weibo account.

The party continued to unite music and beauty with a backdrop of speakers for visitors to take photos and share online. All hotel guests were invited to a one-to-one flash makeup service. Those who attended had the opportunity sample YSL Beauté’s star products, such as the All Hours Foundation, Rouge Pur Couture the Slim and Mon Paris Intensément Eau de Parfum.

Beauty shows hosted by professional YSL Beauté makeup artists ran for three consecutive days, with limited exclusive offers. These could be enjoyed at CDFG’s Sanya Duty Free e-store or flagship physical shop.

In partnership with CDFG, the party was live-streamed on the Yizhibo platform on 19 May with a new variety show featuring renowned influencers such as William, Kiki and Cara.

Reaching over 10 million views online, influencers shared their best 20 May looks and completed transfer resistance, sweat proof and waterproof challenges with the All Hours foundation.

Audiences were able to purchase their favourite YSL Beauté star products by scanning QR codes during the livestream to show their love.

The party was live-streamed via CDFG’s Yizhibo platform on 19 May and generated over 10 million views.
