ATÜ Duty Free – the Gebr. Heinemann/TAV Airports and Unifree Duty Free joint venture – has unveiled its upgraded main store at Tbilisi Airport in Georgia.

The refreshed and expanded 430sq m unit brings together close to 80 luxury brands, with new additions such as Dior MUP, Moncler, L’Occitane en Provence, Atkinsons, Kilian, Xerjoff and Rituals joining exclusive offers from Dior, Armani and Chanel.

Visitors to the shop in departures will enjoy ‘privileged shopping experiences’, with lighting accents and eye-catching interior architecture underpinning the travel retailer’s approach to sustainable store design.

Meanwhile, a 400sq m Georgian wines shop located in departures within the international terminal offers travellers a range of around 50 local brands spanning wine, food and souvenirs.

Ersan Arcan, CEO, ATÜ Duty Free stated: “We are happy to add value to the most important airport of Georgia with our investment. Since the start of our operations at Tbilisi and Batumi Airports in 2007 and at Kutaisi in 2013, we have achieved significant growth in our duty free operation. In parallel with the expansion of our operation, our contribution to employment has also increased.

A 400sq m Georgian wines store located in departures within the international terminal offers travellers a range of local and regional products.

“We are glad to complete the expansion project with an investment of nearly €800,000 for the increasing number of passengers, the demand in duty free shops and our expanding operation in line with the future projection we have built for Georgia.

“Our new main duty free store at Tbilisi Airport will continue to offer passengers a unique shopping experience with a wide range of products, including local products, along with world-renowned elite brands.”
