Avolta to redevelop F&B offering at Geneva Airport
By Naomi Chadderton |
Avolta AG has secured a new long-term food & beverage contract at Geneva Airport, reinforcing a partnership that has been in place for a decade and entering a new phase of development.
The agreement covers the redevelopment and operation of 12 F&B units across more than 3,000 sqm of space, with a phased transformation planned over the next six years.
Building on a collaboration that began in 2015, the project will see Avolta comprehensively reshape Geneva Airport’s existing dining landscape, with the renewed portfolio introducing a mix of newly developed Avolta concepts alongside a selection of locally rooted brands to create a balanced offer that reflects both international standards and regional character.
The new line-up has been designed with passenger flow, operational efficiency and contemporary aesthetics in mind, while retaining a strong sense of place. By blending local culinary references with scalable proprietary formats, the refreshed F&B offer aims to widen customer choice and deliver a more cohesive dining experience throughout the terminal.
Walter Seib, CEO Northern, Central and Eastern Europe at Avolta AG, said: “At Geneva Airport, we have built a trusted partnership over the last decade, one rooted in a shared ambition to create exceptional travel experiences. This new chapter reflects the confidence placed in Avolta to continue raising the bar. With fresh concepts, inviting designs, and an elevated food offering, we are committed to delivering a culinary experience that mirrors the quality and hospitality Geneva is known for.”
Kristina Mees, Chief Commercial Officer at Geneva Airport, added: “This renewed partnership with Avolta reflects our ambition to continuously elevate the commercial experience. By entrusting Avolta with the operation of a carefully curated mix of strong local ‘hero’ brands alongside innovative Avolta-developed concepts, we are creating a distinctive and high-quality food & beverage offering. This approach allows us to combine a strong sense of place with operational excellence, meeting the expectations of both our local community and international passengers while strengthening the long-term value of our F&B portfolio.”
