Baltona opens new La Maison du Luxe at Warsaw Chopin
By Naomi Chadderton |
Baltona has strengthened its footprint at Warsaw Chopin Airport with the opening of a second La Maison du Luxe boutique and a new Zoom convenience store in the Non-Schengen zone.
The Polish travel retail operator is building on the performance of its first La Maison du Luxe location, responding to growing demand for premium fashion and accessories among international travellers. The new boutique extends the concept’s reach into the Non-Schengen departures area, broadening access to its curated luxury offer.
The official opening was attended by Baltona CEO Wojciech Czernek, Board Member Tomasz Marczak and representatives of Polish Airports S.A., including CEO Łukasz Chaberski and Board Member for Strategy and Marketing Adam Sanocki.
“The success of our first La Maison du Luxe location demonstrates that travellers value curated product selection, expert service and exceptional quality. The opening of a second boutique, this time in the Non-Schengen area, and simultaneous launch of the Zoom store, is an important step confirming Baltona’s dynamic growth. We are combining nearly 80 years of experience with a modern approach and attention to every detail of the customer shopping experience,” says Wojciech Czernek, CEO of PHZ Baltona S.A.
La Maison du Luxe brings together a line-up of internationally recognised fashion houses including Ralph Lauren, Armani, Lancel, Kate Spade, Gucci, Prada and Coach. The assortment focuses on handbags, sunglasses and fashion accessories, targeting travellers seeking premium gifting and self-purchase options before long-haul departures.
Alongside the luxury expansion, Baltona has introduced Zoom, a convenience-led format designed for speed and efficiency. Positioned to capture time-pressed passengers, the concept offers a broad selection of travel essentials, electronics and Polish souvenirs, reinforcing the operator’s strategy of catering to different shopper missions within the same terminal environment.
Together, the two openings underline Baltona’s ambition to balance high-end retail with practical, needs-based shopping, while consolidating its position as a leading player in the Polish travel retail market.
