Belfast International Airport Commercial Manager Deirdre Graffin and Aelia Assistant Manager Karl Taylor launch the shop and collect service at Belfast Airport.

Belfast International Airport has launched a new shop and collect service in partnership with Aelia Duty Free.

The newly introduced shop and collect service means passengers can complete their purchases at Aelia Duty Free and have their purchases transferred to secure lockers in arrivals for free.

The items can then be collected when passengers complete their return journey.

Belfast International Airport Commercial Services Manager Deirdre Graffin said: “Shop and collect makes shopping a lot easier. This hassle-free service puts the passenger in control

“It gives them the comfort of knowing that their purchases are in good hands awaiting their return.

NO ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO

“It is ideal for people buying perfumes, gifts and cosmetics but does not include alcohol and tobacco. It’s especially useful for passengers travelling with hand luggage as there is no restriction on the number of items they can buy when using this service.”

Aelia Duty Free Store Manager Michele Hunter said: “This is a small, yet very convenient, innovation that enhances the passenger experience at Belfast International Airport.

“It has already received warm approval from shoppers and we are confident it will prove popular.”

Passengers wishing to avail the service should speak to staff in-store at Aelia Duty Free as they purchase their items.
