Fraport – Frankfurt Airport's parent company – reports that for two days between May 16-17 the shops, bars and restaurants on the ‘landside’ will be celebrating the start of the spring season, with activities concentrated

in the Shopping Avenue and Shopping Boulevard.

The Shopping Avenue and the Shopping Boulevard are located to the left and right of the central check-in area in the middle of Hall B, as well as in the adjoining line of shops extending toward Pier A and on the weekend of May 16-17, there will be new summer collections of fashions and accessories to discover: from Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and many other top Italian brands at Burresi, sunglasses at Pfendt, sport fashions at Nike, new apparel at BOSS, fashions for children and select toys and games at Pf?ller Kidskonzept, unique jewellery at H. Stern (the only shop of this high-class Brazilian chain in the entire Rhine/Main region), and much more.

Fraport said: ‘Live music from Rick Coleman on the piano (blues) and the band 'Have you met Ms. Jones?' (jazz) will ensure a pleasant atmosphere in which to browse and enjoy some good food. Freshly imported oysters will be served, cocktails expertly mixed, and espresso specialties prepared by a real Barista champion.

‘Nor is that all: there will be a wide variety of promotions in the shops, including sweepstakes, ‘two for the price of one’ specials, etc. On both days of the weekend, visitors can go to the central welcome desk in the Shopping Avenue to get a coupon entitling them to park for three hours free of charge. To take things to the next level, the shops will stay open until midnight on the Saturday.’
