Boots has expanded its UK airport presence with the opening of a new store at Belfast City Airport, creating 13 permanent jobs as well as additional seasonal roles.

The store officially opened on 5 August, offering passengers a range of health, beauty and wellness products alongside everyday and last-minute travel essentials.

Caroline Rowan, Head of Commercial Development at Belfast City Airport, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Boots to Belfast City Airport, bringing one of the UK’s best-known retail brands to our passengers. The new store will give travellers easy access to a wide range of products before they fly and adds even more choice within the terminal. The addition of Boots reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the airport experience and ensuring passengers have access to high-quality services and facilities from the moment they arrive.”

Julie Murphy, Vice President, London & Travel Division at Boots, added: “As a brand that serves millions of customers every year, it’s important that we’re present in locations that form part of people’s daily lives and travel plans, making Belfast City Airport an excellent location for our newest store. Our aim is to help customers access the products they need, wherever their day takes them. Whether it’s a forgotten essential, a favourite beauty product or something for the journey ahead, the store offers a carefully selected range designed to meet a variety of customer needs.”

The new opening further expands the retail offer at Belfast City Airport, providing passengers with access to Boots’ health and beauty range throughout the week.
