Charlotte Tilbury and Avolta perform makeover magic at London Stansted

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has joined forces with Avolta to give London Stansted Airport a beauty makeover, renaming its renovated counter at the location the ‘Tilbury Terminal’.
The activation features a selection of immersive brand takeovers at check-in, security and in-store, and invites passengers to ‘beautify before they fly’.
The high-profile initiative – which coincides with the brand’s tenth anniversary – marks a landmark step in Charlotte Tilbury Beauty’s travel retail presence, according to the company, with more exciting projects in the pipeline.

The multi-faceted Stansted airport makeover was designed to fully immerse travellers in the brand at every stage of their pre-flight journey.
In addition to taking over Stansted’s shuttle buses, car park lifts, and bathroom mirrors with its eye-catching branding, founder Charlotte Tilbury’s voice can also be heard over the store speakers, highlighting the presence of the Tilbury Terminal.

The Stansted Airport makeover aims to immerse travellers in the brand at every stage of their pre-flight journey.
In an airport first, passengers are greeted at security with Charlotte Tilbury-branded barriers and liquid bags.
The Stansted in-store counter is showcasing the brand’s best-selling products, including the award-winning Magic Cream moisturiser, Hollywood Flawless Filter, and extensive Pillow Talk collection.
Charlotte Tilbury MBE noted: “I have always been obsessed with decoding on-the-go skincare and creating travel beauty looks that suit every destination and occasion.

In an airport first, passengers have been greeted at Stansted security with Charlotte Tilbury-branded LAGs bags.
“Everyone’s always missing something when they get to the airport, which is why I’ve designed Tilbury Terminals to be the ultimate ‘easy-to-choose, easy-to-use, easy-to-gift, and easy-to-pack’ beauty check- in. They’re stocked with all my skincare and makeup icons to take [travellers] everywhere – from sun-soaked escapes to chic city breaks.”

The distinctive ‘Tilbury Terminal’ branding is featured inside Stansted’s car park lifts and on its bathroom mirrors.
