Chloé’s Bouquiniste pop-up is inspired by the bouquinistes – the open-air booksellers found along the banks of the River Seine.

Chloé has brought its Bouquiniste pop-up concept to Geneva Airport, marking the activation’s debut in European travel retail and hosting an exclusive preview of new fragrance Chloé Le Nectar.

Coty and Lagardère Travel Retail partnered on the activation, which invites travellers to discover Chloé’s fragrance portfolio, spanning its Signature line and premium Atelier des Fleurs collection.

Inspired by the bouquinistes – the open-air booksellers found along the banks of the River Seine – the concept draws on the literary and cultural heritage of Paris’ Left Bank. The Geneva installation incorporates floral crates, bouquets, natural tones and decorative details designed to evoke a Parisian riverside setting.

“We are thrilled to partner with Lagardère and Geneva Airport to introduce Chloé’s Bouquiniste pop-up concept as it makes its debut in Travel Retail Europe,” said Oliver Louis, Managing Director, Travel Retail Europe and Africa at Coty. “The activation, inspired by the bookseller stalls along the banks of the Seine, invites visitors to slow down and immerse themselves in Chloé’s fragrance universe. The exclusive avant-première launch of Chloé Le Nectar made this occasion even more special, further underscoring what we do best at Coty – working closely with our partners to create dynamic, unforgettable retailtainment experiences.”

The activation puts a particular focus on Les Essences Méditerranéennes, part of the Chloé Atelier des Fleurs portfolio and inspired by the Mediterranean region. Travellers purchasing a fragrance from the collection can personalise their bottle with Mediterranean shell charms, while illustrated postcards highlight key ingredients from the range.

The pop-up also hosted the exclusive Geneva Airport avant-première of Chloé Le Nectar ahead of its worldwide launch on 1 September 2026.

Described as a neo-vintage gourmand fragrance, Le Nectar opens with bergamot, followed by neroli, orange blossom absolute and rose absolute. Its base combines tonka absolute, amber accord, patchouli, ambroxan, cashmeran and sandalwood. The fragrance is presented in Chloé’s pleated glass bottle in an amber hue with a golden beige ribbon and is available in refillable 30ml, 50ml and 100ml formats. Travellers purchasing the fragrance can also receive a complimentary Chloé-branded charm keychain.
