Cotswolds Distillery makes first foray into the channel

Cotswolds Distillery has launched its DF&TR business with World Duty Free at Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands Airports.

Cotswolds Distillery has launched its inaugural travel retail proposition at Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands Airports.

Introduced exclusively into the sector in World Duty Free stores at the beginning of April, the offering has enjoyed a strong start and already had a significant impact on sales.

The World Duty Free launch marks Cotswolds Distillery’s first foray into travel retail with its range of whisky and gin products.

Costswold Single MaltCustomers can purchase Cotswolds Distillery’s three flagship 70cl products. These are Cotswolds Dry Gin, Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky (pictured left) and Cotswolds Cream Liqueur. Customers can try before they buy with Cotswolds Distillery staff available to provide discerning travellers with samples, further insight into the brand, its products and their origins at the heart of the Cotswolds.


Product sampling at Birmingham Airport is complemented by a film about the products, their heritage and the production process, broadcast on a large HD display. The impact of this bespoke area has prompted double-digit sales growth since launching.
