WHSmith-owned InMotion and partner Aer Rianta International (ARI) have unveiled a new store at Dublin Airport (DUB) Terminal 1.

The unit is the latest in a flurry of recent openings from the airport-based travel accessories retailer, having debuted at London’s Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted Airports in recent months.

At the DUB T1 store, customers will discover a range of leading technology products and gadgets such as headphones, mobile powerbanks, Bluetooth speakers, cameras and travel accessories.

FIRST OF TWO OPENINGS

Gavin Wood, Managing Director, WHSmith International, commented: “We’re so pleased to be opening our first InMotion shop in Ireland with Dublin Airport. We have an established relationship with the team at ARI and we are excited to be bringing our latest InMotion concept to Dublin airport with the first of two stores opening across Terminals 1 and 2.

“This new store will provide passengers travelling through Dublin Airport with an extensive offer of technology and electrical accessories products to enhance their journey, complemented by live product demonstrations. The team look forward to welcoming new customers to the store over the coming weeks and months ahead.”

Consumers will encounter ‘best-in-class’ customer service and a wide choice of market-leading brands from the likes of Apple, Bose and Samsung, according to InMotion.

Paul Neeson, Director Retail, ARI Ireland, added: “We are delighted to welcome InMotion on their entry to the Irish market and to Dublin Airport in particular. Technology has transformed our lives to a greater extent than ever over the last two years and we look forward to InMotion presenting the most innovative and exciting products on the market.”

InMotion won a bid to operate 30 technology stores across UK airports last year, replacing units previously occupied by Dixons Travel, and holds a leadership position in North America where it operates 117 stores across 43 airports.
