Enviro-Point lists Portable Hygiene Kit with Lagardère in multiple UK airports

By Andrew Pentol |

The Portable Hygiene Kits are being stocked by Lagardère Travel Retail at London Luton, London City, Belfast International and Glasgow Airports.

Luggage-Point subsidiary Enviro-Point has secured listings in 10 UK airports with Lagardère Travel Retail and PG Group for its Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kit. The company is also targeting more travel business with immediately available stock.

Enviro-Point, which recently appointed experienced airport commercial executive Gavin McKechnie as Board Advisor, has confirmed that the Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kits are immediately available for fast delivery to customers in the UK.

The company, which will exhibit at the upcoming TRMarketplace online digital event has revealed that the kit can now be supplied with bespoke branding (minimum 2,000 units).

Each Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kit measures 14 x 20 x 2cm and contains 3-ply disposable facemasks, two pairs of gloves, a packet of 10 disinfectant wipes and a 100 ml hand sanitiser bottle. All items are contained in a re-usable travel pouch.

The high safety specification kits, which are available for £10/$13 (with a minimum order of 50) are already being stocked by Lagardère Travel Retail at London Luton, London City, Belfast International and Glasgow Airports. They are also available onboard Irish Ferries.

IMPRESSIVE UK AIRPORT PRESENCE

In addition, the kit is now available in PG Group vending machines at London Heathrow, London Luton and Luggage-Point Travel Safe vending machines in Glasgow, Belfast, Bristol and Newcastle International Airports.

The impressive breadth of airport availability is completed by the kit’s presence in three Luggage-Point stores at Glasgow, Birmingham International and Edinburgh Airports.

Finally, Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kits are now also available at Edinburgh Waverley train station.

All four product types in the Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kit come with the best safety accreditations on the market. These include CE certification in each case, which is a critical factor in airport/retailer decisions on selecting products of this kind.

The facemasks come with a bacterial efficiency of 99.8%+ and are available with gloves. Both are approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser are proven to kill up to 99.9% of germs.

KEY NEW LISTINGS

Luggage-Point/Enviro-Point Retail & Services Director Graeme Stewart said: “The hard work we put into specifying the elements of the Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kit and sourcing them has really paid off with a whole host of major UK airports and top travel retailer Lagardère already on the client list.

“It’s a great testament to the quality of the kit that airports and a retailer of this stature are offering them as important products for passengers in the fight to combat Covid-19 and other potential infections.

“I’m also pleased to reveal that we can now offer these kits with bespoke branding, either for re-sale or as corporate gifts. This will appeal to a variety of markets such as airlines, train operators and insurance providers.”

PG Group Director Avril Elson commented: “We’re delighted to be working alongside Enviro-Point to offer the Travel Safe Portable Hygiene Kit to safety-conscious passengers through our vending machines at London Heathrow and London Luton Airports. We look forward to expanding that availability to other airports.”
