Euro and German brands take the stage in FRA retail expo

The best of made in Germany and made in Europe brands are featuring at Frankfurt Airport in a campaign until September.
Passengers at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) are able to experience famous German and European brands as part of a current campaign.
Running until the end of August, the showcase will focus strongly on crafts and culture in the international departure areas B and Z in Terminal 1, and D and E in Terminal 2.
International travellers can view luxury German watches, writing instruments and fashion from the likes of Montblanc, Leica, Glashütte Original, Nomos and Wempe Glashütte.
Meanwhile, merchandise from MCM, Picard, Loewe, Versace and Switzerland’s Rolex and chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli will also feature.

The B212 Sterling special edition piano by C. Bechstein, a ‘visual and acoustic highlight’, has already toured Europe.

Made in Germany and the best of Europe brands can also be found online, among FRA’s more than 300 shops, restaurants and services.
Leaflets offering coupons for German and European brands are available in the departure areas, while visitors can enjoy acoustics from a C. Bechstein B212 Sterling special edition concert piano in Terminal 1, Concourse D located after security and passport control.
“The list of major German and European brands at the airport could continue further,” said FRA.
“Traditional souvenirs and gifts continue to prove popular – including cuckoo clocks, Bavarian beer mugs and Spreewald pickles in a souvenir tin.”
