By Luke Barras-hill |

BUFFMunichAirportMunich Airport (MUC) has opened three new retail doors at Terminal 2.

Germany’s first BUFF airport store (level 4 post-security) joins a Lacoste boutique (Level 4 post-security) and Flori’s Flowershop (level 3, public arrivals area).

Philipp Ahrens, Director of Center Management, Munich Airport said: “These new arrivals highlight Munich Airport’s diversity. We aim to address the different needs of our target groups and fulfil them as well as we possibly can. And that is reflected in our retail offerings.”

Spanish neck and headwear specialist BUFF produces products including the tubular BUFF, made using recycled microfibres, with the store selling a wide selection of accessories.

Munich Airport says the addition of the three new units, including Lacoste (pictured), is designed to ‘enliven the shopping experience with fresh ideas’.

The Lacoste boutique boasts the ‘Le Club’ design concept that spotlights the label’s famed shirts via an eye-catching polo wall.

Digital presentations on products, information on the brand’s history and a bar-like sales counter are other features.

The Bavarian gateway handled 46.3m passengers in 2018.
