A speedy VIP travel service that includes personal shopping has launched at London Luton Airport (LLA).
Currently being piloted at LLA for departure and arrival passengers, Fastrack VIP claims to offer travellers ‘a queue free, stress free flying experience as soon as they arrive at the airport after parking their car’.
Personal shopping will feature as part of the service, with a VIP assistant on hand to provide exclusive advice on airport offers and more general travel tips.
TWO PACKAGES
Passengers can choose from two packages, the first priced from £89.99/$116.60 and a second VIP option costing £149.99/$194.30 (with a party of four costing £75 per person).
For the first package, travellers receive a personal airport service and up to 20% off parking.
The Fastrack VIP ‘assistant’ will greet and escort passengers through check-in, bag drop, security and on to the departure gate.
Meanwhile VIP package customers receive the same service, in addition to exclusive trackable luggage labelling packs, a 15% discount on Spa Bliss treatments at Luton’s Aspire Lounge, plus guaranteed access to the executive lounge with complimentary food and drink on arrival.
Travellers arriving back to the UK can also choose to meet an assistant with a luggage trolley who will assist them through baggage reclaim and their onward transfer.
Liz Turner of Fastrack VIP, said: “This is a brand new, innovative service which will be accessible to all customers. It’s easy to book, affordable and enables travellers to have a stress-free, hassle-free experience.
“We saw a real gap in the market for this sort of service. People are often tired of the indignity of travelling from some UK airports. The queuing, the rushing, and sometimes the unfamiliarity of airports causes stress and anxiety – quite often at a time when you want to relax and enjoy the very start of your holiday.”
