The Fever-Tree Bar officially opened on 15 January.

Fever-Tree has started the year with the opening of a new premium bar at Manchester Airport, marking the brand’s second dedicated airport bar concept in the UK.

Located airside in the newly transformed Terminal 2, the Fever-Tree Bar officially opened on 15 January and builds on the success of the brand’s first airport bar at Edinburgh Airport, launched in 2022.

The opening comes as Manchester Airport approaches the final stages of its £1.3 billion transformation programme, which has seen Terminal 2 redeveloped into a larger, brighter and more open space. With the majority of the airport’s airlines now operating from T2, the expanded terminal features an upgraded mix of retail, food and beverage concepts aimed at enhancing the end-to-end passenger experience.

Designed as a premium yet relaxed space, the Fever-Tree Bar reflects the brand’s focus on quality ingredients and crafted drinks. A standout feature is a large Fever-Tree tree installation, with an 11-metre canopy inspired by the botanical landscapes where the brand sources its ingredients. The design complements the terminal’s modern architecture while reinforcing Fever-Tree’s positioning in premium mixing.

The drinks menu centres on Fever-Tree’s range of mixers, paired with premium spirits from both local and international distilleries. The offer includes a selection of long mixed drinks such as Gin & Tonics, Highballs, Mules, Spritzes and Palomas, alongside a menu of seasonal small plates designed for pre-flight occasions.

Commenting on the opening, Fever-Tree CEO and co-founder Tim Warrillow said: “This is an incredibly exciting moment for airport travel, and Manchester Airport’s new Terminal 2 is setting a new benchmark for the passenger experience. After the fantastic reception to our first airport bar at Edinburgh Airport, we are delighted to bring Fever-Tree to Manchester and to be part of the transformed T2 offering.”

Manchester Airport Managing Director Chris Woodroofe added: “We’ve invested £1.3bn in our brand-new, award-winning Terminal 2 so that we now have the facilities to deliver a truly world-leading airport experience. Fever-Tree is a fantastic addition to the departure lounge and brings something new and distinctive to the airport’s food and beverage offer.”

With its latest opening, Fever-Tree continues to strengthen its presence in the airport channel, tapping into growing demand for premium, experience-led drinking occasions in travel environments.
