All terminals at Frankfurt International Airport have been decorated with lights in the build-up to Christmas.

Shops and restaurants at Frankfurt Airport are inviting guests to embark on extensive tours and to take advantage of bargains and Yuletide culinary creations.

Major international brands are available alongside regional and ‘typical German’ products in ‘owner run boutiques’ and innovative shops. All terminals have also been decorated with lights to create that festive feel.

In addition, the airport’s Visitor Service has introduced an experience gift-card concept which can be purchased for any amount starting from €7 ($7.8). It can be used for one of the airport tours, visitors terrace or for purchasing in the shop run by the Visitor Service. This particular outlet carries a range of unusual articles and souvenirs aimed at aviation fans of all ages.

The gift-cards can be downloaded and printed with a personalised greeting. They can also be purchased in the ‘FRA Airport Tours and Shop’ in Terminal 1 departures or at the entrance to the Visitors Terrace.

Those wishing to purchase from their home or hotel can access the Frankfurt Airport Online Shop. At Christmas, there is a gift-finder function which provides tips on what to give him, her or children and suggests electronic products, sweets, other foods and much more for any budget.
