BAA staff at Glasgow Airport's Business Support Centre are preparing for a busy charity event tonight as they get behind the UK Comic Relief effort.Approximately 100 staff from the BAA Business Support Centre (BSC), based

at Hillington industrial estate just outside Glasgow, will be joined by volunteers from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports to assist with one of the UK's biggest fundraising efforts.
The BSC will be transformed into a call centre for Comic Relief with staff logging donations from around the UK. The volunteers will also help raise cash for Comic Relief with a series of fundraising efforts on the night. The BSC is also organising its own fund-raising events with business partners and local businesses.
Comic Relief raises money from the general public by actively involving them in events and projects that are innovative and fun. It aims to inform, educate and raise awareness, while promoting social change. Monies raised are donated to a wide range of charities.
