Heathrow Concessions Director appointed

Heathrow Airport today announced the appointment of Muriel Zingraff-Shariff as Retail Concessions Director with effect from July. Her previous roles include senior positions at Harrods and Jimmy Choo, as Ceo of Paco Rabanne and most recently working with 3i and Oaktree Capital in the luxury goods sector.

Zingraff-Shariff takes up he new position next month and will be responsible for developing Heathrow’s award winning retail business.

In a statement, BAA said: “With demand for luxury goods at Heathrow continuing to grow at a rapid rate, Zingraff-Shariff will oversee the retail concessions team in providing passengers with the best possible shopping experience.”

Commenting on her appointment, Zingraff-Shariff said: “With its award winning retail I’m excited to be joining Heathrow. I am looking forward to working with the commercial team to develop the retail offering both in the existing terminals and the much anticipated new Terminal 2.”

ENSURING DIRECT RELEVANCE AND APPEAL
Adding his comments, John Holland Kaye, Commercial Director, said: “Retail revenues are hugely important to Heathrow and help keep landing charges down. We are delighted to have Muriel on board. 

“Her retail experience both here in the UK and abroad will not only strengthen the retail team yet further, but also ensure our offering has direct relevance and appeal to the 68 million passengers that pass through Heathrow each year.”

Muriel Zingraff-Shariff completed her MBA from ESSEC in Paris where she specialised in marketing and international business development, before starting her career with L’Oréal Paris.
