Located in the historic first arrondissement of Paris overlooking the river Seine, La Samaritaine has undergone a six-year renovation project.
The site, adjacent to the famous Rue de Rivoli and Pont-Neuf and close to the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre, was acquired by LVMH in 2002 before it was closed in 2005 due to safety concerns.
Sixteen years on, LVMH will showcase its renovated masterpiece that romanticises La Samaritaine’s 19th Century architectural cues, Art Noveau and Art Deco flourishes, while adapting the site for a modern audience.
The DFS commercial footprint covers 20,000sq m.
