ISG scoops duty free contracts for ASL Airlines France & Transavia France

Inflight Sales Group (ISG) Europe has picked up contracts to operate duty free sales onboard ASL Airlines France and Transavia France.
Following a competitive tender for ASL Airlines France, a subsidiary of Ireland-based ASL Aviation Holdings, ISG Europe has also taken over the carrier’s buy-on-board business.
Both contracts are effective from January 2021.
In addition, ISG Europe has taken over the Transavia France duty free contract from Dutyfly Solutions.
ROYAL AIR MAROC DF RESTART
ISG Europe will run services on the Air France/KLM Group airline via a collaboration with Servair – Gate Group until summer 2024, with the new agreement scheduled to begin no later than January next year.
In a statement, ISG Europe says it is ‘fully convinced that the inflight duty sales business model must change’ and calls for it to be adjusted to reflect the new reality of increased health and safety measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Our challenge is to transform our business into this new reality,” added the concessionaire.
ISG Europe President Karen Durban was the subject of a TRBusiness ‘Adapt & Survive’ video interview in July (watch above) shortly after the EU relaxed travel restrictions.
As reported at the time, a selection of routes for French Bee and Air Caraïbes –the full concession programmes of which are run by ISG Europe – restarted that month.
In an update, ISG Europe says sales results during the summer have been very successful and exceeded expectations thanks to new offers, processes and motivated crew.
“Thanks to this success, ISG is currently working with partner Atlas Servair in Morocco to restart duty free onboard Royal Air Maroc for January 2021 copy-pasting the same successful theme,” added ISG Europe.
“Sales onboard Aeroflot and Russian airlines have never stopped on domestic routes. ISG Europe is waiting for the rest of international flights that should happen in February 2021.”
