ISPY attracts 41 airlines for January event

The Inflight Sales Person of the Year – a training programme and awards initiative for airline cabin crew – has confirmed 102 cabin crew from 41 airlines will attend the event in Brighton in January 2013.

 

The event will take place from 14-18 January at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel [pictured below] where the last event took place in November 2011.

It’s organiser, TRT’s Managing Director Christine Martin, says: “Over the past six months the team have been in constant communication with the airlines, in order to reach our target of 100 cabin crew.

 

“If you add that to the extensive list of sponsors (over 30) and 9 of the world’s leading concessionaires, ISPY2013 promises to be the biggest and best Inflight Retail event of the year. We are delighted with the way ISPY is becoming a one-stop event for all Inflight Retail stakeholders. It’s what our industry wants and needs.”

 

Christine Martin ISPYMartin will also be presenting at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October. The TRT Managing Director, will focus on the human touch, looking at the importance of best-in-class customer engagement.

 

Martin [pictured right] will focus on how trained staff and crew can be empowered to ensure customers buy more – or indeed buy something. She will analyse how, from the recruitment stage through to performance management, retailers can ensure their staff apply the ‘human touch’.
