Kappé Schiphol boasts success with new Dita sunglasses brand in T2 and T3
By Charlotte Turner |
Travel retailer, Kappé Schiphol Amsterdam has introduced new sunglasses brand, Dita, into its portfolio at the Dutch international hub airport, reporting success ‘beyond expectations’.
The brand is currently represented in Terminal 2 and 3 for the Non-Schengen destinations.
“We are happy to see that the passengers like the brand, in various models,” said Kappé.
“Flight – 006 is the [standout] success for Dita and also for Kappé, and has enjoyed an outstanding performance in comparison with other models.”
Pre-Covid, Kappé said it was being ‘very careful with exclusive brands’.
“But now we see that passengers are willing to buy an exclusive product, where quality and value for money [are key attributes]; we take that in consideration when selecting brands.”
Kappé believes that key to the brand’s success is also the fact that the frames use only the ‘best materials’ and are made to a very high standard.
