Lagardère Travel Retail, in collaboration with BFA, has opened its first Relay store in Turkey’s Antalya International Airport’s newly expanded Terminal 2 Extension.
The 350-square-metre store marks Relay’s debut in the Turkish market, bringing its globally recognised travel essentials concept to one of the Mediterranean’s busiest holiday gateways.
It offers a wide range of convenience products, including Food-to-Go, press, books and travel essentials, with over 30% of the assortment featuring local Turkish products.
This opening extends the partnership between Lagardère Travel Retail and BTA, building on their successful Relay operations at Zagreb Franjo Tudman International Airport in Croatia (three stores) and Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan (three stores).
BFA, formed by BTA (60%) and Fraport (40%), manages restaurant concessions at Antalya Airport, leveraging TAV Airports’ local expertise and Lagardère’s global leadership in travel retail to deliver a tailored passenger experience.

With the addition of Türkiye, Relay is now present in 31 countries across all five continents.
Nathalie Simon, EVP Retail at Lagardère Travel Retail, said: “We are thrilled to partner with BFA to bring Relay to Antalya and Türkiye, one of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations. Our new signature, ‘Relay, What Moves You,’ reflects our commitment to providing a seamless and convenient shopping experience.”
Baha Bülbül, CEO of BTA Food & Services, added: “This new Relay store enhances the passenger experience at Antalya Airport through our unique partnership with Fraport. It allows us to serve a broader audience with high-quality products and services.”

The new store offering travellers in Antalya a wide range of travel essentials and convenience products such as Food-to-Go, press and books.
Antalya Airport, which served 31.7 million international travellers in 2024, recently completed a €850 million expansion, boosting its annual capacity to 65 million passengers, with plans to reach over 80 million during the concession period. The airport connects 105 airlines to 229 destinations across 52 countries.
The Relay opening is the first of several planned store launches at Antalya, signalling further growth for the brand in Türkiye’s travel retail market.
